Anonymity of Internet: Unity in Messages

Just wanted to tell every person I have had the privilege to know, that I am so grateful to have you each in my life. I pray you have with me a blessed hour, blessed day, blessed night, week, month.... Blessed Life!

May everyone who receives this message be blessed. It is difficult to decide who I thought could go through this with me. That is because many people claim to pray, but not everyone does. I hope I chose the right twelve. Please send one of yours back to me: "You'll see why."

To magnify our blessings use this simple repeating number 12. For instance there are 12 months/ 12 disciples/ 12 tribes of Israel / Jesus' birth celebrated in the 12th month. This is our message of faith, hope and steadfast charity attached, to forward to twelve others.

Prayer is the only free gift we receive. Couldn't pay for it if you tried...and lots of reward. I encourage you to pray, and pray believing God will answer.

Today is all you need it to be. The peace of God and the ambience of His Holy Spirit rests in your thoughts, rules in your dreams, and conquers all fear. Today you wear the armor of God, and you have the enlightened mind of Jesus Christ.

God is manifest today in all ways to you, as you might never have experienced before. Look to joy fulfilled, dreams much closer, and prayers answered. I pray you experience faith at greater intensity; I pray that I and you give God the Father Almighty all our heart, and seek his rightness, that these things be added to our eternal life with Him.

I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true undying love for our Father.

Now send this to 12 people within 5 minutes and remember to send this back..... I count as 2, you'll see why.

Suggestion: Copy and Paste rather than just forward in email. The lists of addressees get too long.

[Note from editors: Message Received anonymously in email, edited for blog.

It has been my experience that this and other similar messages have circled the earth many times. They began when email was invented. This one is obviously very aged, in terms of how I received it: the language is unnervingly the same as it was the first five times it went by me. I mention the language because in passing messages around most the time the meaning is altered, lost or just plain mispoken. This message remains coherent.

Notice I said "five times:" I am witness how easy it is to just say no. But after it goes by several times, something starts to wriggle its way into the cognitive conscience of us beings' sitting at keyboards; Then two then four, and so on, in multiples of twelve.

I respect the logic, and the message inherent in the letter; that of encouragement. I send it on in respect for myself as keeper of faith, of hope and of charity. I look forward to a return of the message because I made an oath to seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness. I trust that others will remain loyal also. God bless you all.] >>pd d2r2

The "American Question" revisited

by Rick Capotosto
Our children grow up, learn things and uncover the Ptolemaic questions we tired of so many years ago. They stick it right back in our faces, demanding answers like we did. And they grow up smart, at least they all seem to have their specialties going, backed by a lot of schooling, the internet and talk radio.

My sons know their Founding Fathers and they see the genius of it all - what took place when this nation was knit together in the 1700's. They have also seen where the propaganda breaks down and it always comes around to "slavery," the American question. Still.

Now we oldies all got tired of "the question" sometime in the late 1970's after 20 years of ugliness. Everybody did and we've been letting time work. And it has.

But the kids still want to know how come "all men" didn't really mean "all men". They want to understand how men who kept others chained and caged could shake their fists at England for subjecting them to political servitude. They need to grasp exactly where disconnect was for these wise intellectual giants between the lofty platitudes and the maintenance of their kitchens, stables and fields.

They want to know which Jesus was in their hearts, the real one, or, the impostor.

So they bring it all up again for us, scratch open the wounds of humanity anew. This is what I've learned recently in my renewed curiosity after sitting down one-on-one with several blacks and discussing this head-on:

First, I don't feel guilty anymore about any of it. It's "history" and not even my history at that.

Second, black-Americans have no interest in pinning guilt on whites. They got over that somewhere along the way too. The cry of the 60's for reconciliation has been sincerely replaced with a reasoned call for recognition.

At the heart it is a compelling plea - "understand that we don't know who we are! All that we do know is rather shameful, disjointed and fractured. We want to first be recognized as having value as a people group just like everyone, not just us but our forefathers also."

Third, the real Jesus was at work in the hearts of many back then, but far from all. They were shaking the foundation of the world -- and risking hanging & quartering -- by denouncing aristocracy as a fraud, asserting that God did not ordain one class of humans as "noble" and others "common". Though many called for going further, eliminating slavery, there were not enough of them.

I am convinced that no power or intellect on earth besides the love of Jesus can overcome bigotry in men because slavery in all forms is of Satan and only Jesus ever could or ever can stand against that slave pimp.

The French revolution was totally of "men" and ended in butchery because they could not stand against the Hater of Men without Jesus. He twisted their fine intentions into his will for more destruction.

So, this is what I tell my kids and then I listen to hear what they think. And pray for their world as I assume our parents prayed for ours. by Compostholestoy

Butterflies are Free, and also this music from Gibson

Some Good News from good sources:

Gibsonian rock and roll for youngsters to learn new guitar licks, click on the link below. Music is the true language of the ageless. Titans and daughters and sons of yours will learn to play, sing and dance as gentlemen and gentlewomen of the Cross.

Also here is a link to a guitar lessons, free over the internet... been up and running for a long time. Lots of good shuffling, and trundling for all our sons and daughters starting out with their garage skiffle bands.

Be Excellent To Each Other- The Wyld Stallyns (Bill and Ted)

Any one else want to get into music? I once found a stash of dusty Yamaha classic guitars in the choir teacher's storage at a middle school where I taught. About eleven of them were in great shape. I asked a simple question: Are our students here mostly Hispanic?

Well, Miss Weterly and her chorus got excited, and Mexican Heritage got performed that year the way it is meant, on classic strung guitars with soft Spanish voices.

If you have a similar task to perform, I suggest you go to the first United Methodist church in your town, and ask them at one sunny day Church service to please donate any old guitar, that they have lying about their houses. One church collected almost a hundred beginner's and better guitars the following Sunday after the request. That's fifty kids off the streets studying a skill.

There is always a new generation of buskin' beginners every nine months. Pass it along, a used instrument has much life in it... clarinets to violins, all of mine are used and have very fine tones.

Sixty-four Native Tongues, by David Darnell

The rain is washing over the coastal plain again. Immense clouds of salty water brought out of the Gulf of Mexico by Caribbean sea breezes and mixed with low pressure sliding down the east slope of the Rockies turns us into rainy day people many times a Winter.

People used to shun us because of this phenomenon and now they seem to flock here from all over the World to revel in it, sixty-four native tongues spoken at Lee High School, where our little sister went 25 years ago with her group of, similarly raised, middle American Houstonians, mainly natives.

That glacier with all of the crashing waves seems to be trying to break the pattern. How many millenias, since the World you so eloquently embraced earlier in these blessed entries, experienced an upheaval of its core and crust and veil of oxygen?

Are we all so complacent that we fail to follow the drama you have shared with us through Hubble's eye and be awed and humbled by the Majesty of His creation? You aren't complacent and satisfied, Brother, you seeker and scribe of truth and beauty and love. Dvd

Love is finding Lasting Love, by Patrick Darnell

A Majority thinks it's Man-made
Notes: from a documentary on Science/History Channel

Love is a change in state
Greenland is once covered in ice
on its land, it has the earth's fastest moving glacier
Normally it moves with the changes in seasons
like a clockwork, to and fro

There is a change in state-of-being for Greenland's glacier; let's call it the frozen ice barrier. It's regular condition is being affected by a runaway torrent of melt-water coming off the surface of the ice barrier. This torrent finds its way into a crevass, then plunges to its own level, cutting all the way down 100 meters below the barrier, as water tends to do. Love can be a torrent of wills clashing in the attempt to break down icy barriers. (2006)

What next happens is a rather large and totally scary cracking and loss of huge ice trays that are actually floating cliffs on torrents of water, enormous in scale. In first stages, water is finding its way to underneath, between bedrock and thick ice, making for cataclysmic ice slides. As huge cliffs sluff off into the sea, there is enough freshwater in just one off-shedding cliff to nourish and sustain all of NYC for a year.

Might also love turn-about two forces of human nature; find a creative way to handle opposing hands? Love in this vortex, swirling about two states of being, may also look destructive in the process. Is love not also trying to reach a common level and equilibrium?

Glacier Ice is a barrier built over many centuries of repeated forces acting in patterns. Once the patterns are reset, then another normal reaction occurs. Ice turns into water: Cool, clear, ancient water.

One can actually pick up a piece of the newly exposed ancient ice, and listen to it. It is full of tiny bubbles packed with compressed gas. As the ice pieces continue to change from ice to water, pops can be heard. Tiny explosions released in tune with massive ice cliffs swaying and falling, floating in the briney slush of surrounding sea.
For two forces to move beyond conditional love and find unconditional, or, divine love, a gap must be crossed. How does one find love that lasts; what makes love last?

Love is no less a human trait, and now we find it is no less nature's trait. So if one seeks God, one confronts His nature. Allow love to woo, mold, and melt. Compressed feelings will escape, let loose to streams of living water in oceans's cleansing action. Getting beyond the initial stages is a struggle to bear, in finding and experiencing divine love. Observe it in all changes in state, all around, all the time.

But then you already knew that, didn't you, cherished friends and lovers?

Humor and the Word

By David Darnell

I failed to mention in the last gloomy and downright oppressive post that God's blessings to us include the ability to laugh. I feel and hear a booming laugh every time I say" I ", and even more so, a totally, hearty laugh when this grounded pilgrim says something about "Plans I have."

The word is platypus. If humor isn't a cornerstone of this universe, then where did these critters come from ? You can't say their Mommies, because it would appear they had flings some time in the formative years and the genes got crossed. Or did God decide He would dip His creative finger in the soup and see what wonders were left ? He still, on a daily basis, knocks me for a loop with this World of His, that He gave to us. Two, mated-for-life, red-tailed hawks climbing afternoon thermals into the Sun, calling out to all who can hear, " We rule this portion of sky-eeeeee. " "Sky-eeeeee."

I'm a miserable typist. Hope all who are blogging with our mentor PD of MPW, all three of us,
keep the torrent of words spilling into the drain-pipes of the WEB. No 0's and 1's for these blogs.
We must find a way to get General Motors, oops excuse me I mean Toyota, on board. We only want the biggest and most well financed entities involved. The quasi and semi- quasi are welcome to comment and post. Even the ones out there who fail to realize the shear genius and fabulous intellect it takes to keep these lines of communication completely random and fairly disjointed are asked to not mess things up with concise or well thought out entries, off the cuff, if you please.

We have an awesome God, we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (Beware the liberals) I Cor. 6:9

Love to all, DD

This is Psalms 107, don't know how this title jumped on here. I mean, I know how it did, it just isn't my doing. I've been pouring over these verses lately and they are wonderful words. I think of these people as I read them. Can't quite remember starting to post or even writing the words down anywhere. Here they are and comments are welcome and cherished by this blogger and once again I'm shouting it loud " I love you guys !"

What I like about all this is that it is NOT too little too LATE! Never too stoned; Never to poor; Never too rich; Never too snobby; Never too foolish; Never too old; Never too young; Never too religious; Never too French; Never too Texan; Never too far gone, always a welcome song... >pd

Christian Men...become Christian Soldiers

Fellow Men of Christ,

This is not easy to write about because words aren't what's happening. The Spirit of God is requiring full attention from you, as faithful and steadfast men. It isn't optional to listen.

Our society and world is crawling with the devils' minions, polluting minds and stealing the souls of our fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, cousins, brother-in-laws, son-in-laws, friends and neighbors. We are assaulted by a daily barrage from the media about another bad man who has fallen victim to satans foul words and deeds, made into a buzzing, incomprehensible gibberish that says, "It's okay, you are misunderstood. Go ahead. You don't have to take it anymore. This is the right way to solve problems. Just finish them. Take what you need. Don't worry, you will be the better man for it."

God doesn't agree. He rewards all who have faith in Him. We as Believers have faith in God because we admit we believe. As we seek God he reminds us, as we have our Brothers as witnesses, to lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely to us, and to have patience to run the race set before us.

We must be champions of God's will and he wills us to be faithful and steadfast, in all things of man, as our Saviour, Jesus, the Son of Man, the Son of God carried us on his back with the promise of all things God. (Hebrews 11:6 & 12:1)

It seems to be fashionable to not care. I say it myself, "Whatever". We must care, it is our duty and obligation to care and be careful, with ourselves as well as others, loved ones and strangers.

The Challenge:
I am suggesting this Easter, 2008 Christian men, Christian soldiers, muster under God's banner and make ourselves visible and known to the people we love, the people who depend on us, the people we depend on. We are numerous but don't allow the world and the Father to hear our combined voices.

In the name of God it is a powerful voice. United, faithful and steadfast nothing could withstand the glory and God will be praised by our prayers as we intentionally move the weight of evil from our paths. I propose a worldwide march of Good, Christian men, arm-in-arm, praising God and laying low the devils' towers. In Christ, dd

He ain't Heavy, He's my Brother

Get your walkin' shoes on. Men all over the Greater Houston area are sick and tired of evil taking the minds and souls of brothers and fathers.

FAST is dedicating its spiritual and mental resources to physically stepping up and stepping out in this year of New Beginnings, 2008.

"We're gonna march from out to in," says one who is breathlessly waiting for others to get the message. "Why? Because we are faithful in the long haul."

Those receiving these messages would like to sprint right now to converge, and concur at the minds of their fellow men. Those with the testimony are anxious to tell us others: "We are not going to tolerate evil in our lives anymore. We will march into Houston, faithful and steadfast, from all outlying counties," says one lone man who has taken the cause to the very heart and lungs of his being.

More later.... as more news comes available!!!

I don't need too much more to understand the mysterious work of Christ in the world. I was eyewitness in the '60's to the revival in Houston, and saved right then and there at ten years old. Since then I have always understood that the Holy Spirit uses midnight rambles to host the body of Christ, and in the murkiest places the wind of revivial blows a gale. I say men put on your walkin' shoes and start with your good foot.>pd

Billion Man March, ya Knuckleheads

Why stop at a million, and why does it have to be race specific? Hey! Save your historical parody!

How are your dreams lately? Having vivid, remembered dreams? Feeling a little queazy in the gut? does your head seem a little tight for your swelling brain?

Your wife and kids seem to be turning on you, as you have changed course in your life, without their consent? Are you feeling like you, or like a half-brain? Is there a memory that keeps cropping up in your thoughts, awake and sleeping? You keep thinking there is someone you should contact?

That's symptoms, now take those to your doctor. He gives you Zoloft? and a blood thinner?

Remember this: We are a life form on a planet that has a 99% probability of "expunging life forms on its surface." For you and me, we have been marked and it is time to find out with what and by whom.

You're Normal dude. You are going to see gatherings and migrations never before experienced in Human existence. Your brain and heart are parts of a transmitter system that when put together in agreement with your fellow man, is a force of galactic proportions. You see we are not to experience total extinction.

That's all I got today! So be it. >pd
