But what does it say? "The Word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart."

The Journey

C Patrick McIlvain  on facebook ...

"... I went to see the "Dallas Buyer Club" this afternoon. I have been putting it off for a very long time. Just too close to my life. In 1986 I was told that I needed to get my things in order as I would not live longer that 3 years at the most if lucky.

Well I am not lucky - I am blessed. I am still only HIV+. I am a "slow progresser" and I will grant you that- - in so many ways.... I was a participant of THAT very first "double blind" trial. I still have the first bottle that I was given not knowing "sugar or AZT. I was given AZT from the very start. The VA and Baylor where conducting the trial here in Houston.

I then had this, I know this is going to sound just a bit mental, but remember who is typing here, "awareness" that presented its' self to me - "They are giving you too much they are trying to kill you" so I cut my dosage in half.

I took part in some local demonstrations. My major depression was brought to the surface. My life started to change completely. It was when I reached my Long Range Goal -age 40 that I know the educated public did not have all of the knowledge nor answers - thus not all of the power.

So I started on this awaking life journey that I have begun to find out that I do have what it takes. And I really do like what I have rediscovered about just who I was born to be.....

Aren't These Things To Be Expected?

"A rather Godless bunch in power...I'd say" Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love 31What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. 35Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”o) 37No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 38And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,p neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
