A video I [blackmovieguy. August 15, 2006] put together about the last approaching days and the scriptures prophecying what will take place.

There are clips not meant to be taken literal. Such as the clip of someone jumping off the WTC buildings following the scripture about those desiring to kill themselves but will not be able to, and. That was used for image purposes. To have a visual aid sorta but by no means did I mean for that to be an example of the scripture itself. It was just to show what it will be like when those times come.
But yah. Please enjoy. Comment all you want.

Multi-tasking, or just plain winging it; We are most the time winging it. You know, setting goals too high, and performing substandard. Tragically our blundering makes us drop trillions of tons of goo on delicate arctic animals; and it all gets televised. Who will clean it all up?

Then it dawns on us: What are some offerings we can put out for our MooPigsters? Well, we thought, deep, then we concentrated hard, cogitated on wellsprings of congnitive stimulae .... only to fail to come up with a standard, because there was too much confusion as we were distracted by the caucophony emitting from our barnyard. Is the subject of our torn allegiances too deep ??

Many friends of MooPigsters are meditative, thoughtful, and hardest working som' bi'ches on the face of the planet; that is, our readers work half as hard as their moms and daddies did, but twice as hard as everyone else. Yes, you. (see: also Alex Jones' Prison Planet dot com)

Heart Trouble: The most important walk is not to walk in rules, but to walk in location; location: as in "where is the heart?" Avoid love for our cosmetic world, rather love with all one's heart, as in giving, as wanting, as in serving the Lord God Father.

Guilt is a desperate and all consuming taskmaster. It uses its sidekick Blame to enforce its goals. Goals for guilt are ... hmmmm ... slovenly slacking, emo-babbling, frozen assets, and blaming someone else for all troubles.

Yes, almost every USA citizen who votes today believes in cognitive dissonance. [Please, MooPig curmudgeons, listen to Hal Lindsay's Report now] Hal is a brave man, and I admire him for his endurance, and his ability to pump out information.

I am guilty of trying to serve two masters -- dissonance worship in practice, yes again, I admit. I worship 'Triple-patty, DQ double bacon cheeseburgers' -- that's one. Second I worship sleeping -- Saint Mattress on Sunday mornings... that's two of many masters I submit time and effort to. YIKES !!

It is my own downlow attitudes, that I bring forward from growing up in the sixties, that confuse my children and wife, and probably you, today.

No doubt in my mind; I could have done without the backward-forward slant of a skewed ideology that sells products, but supplies no edifications.

Turn yourselves and Live ye

A quick look into a concordance, flip to the subject phrase in my big old King James, read and think; that's what happens when someone mentions any thing from the Bible. Further cogitate the verse in other translations, until I am sure I get it.

Why is that important? I think it is necessary to tell my friends when it comes to Christ, Scripture and understanding, that I take very seriously any thing they say to me.

Besides, oration is divine. We humans talk to each other: we humans talk to Lord God. It is an essential slice of creation, and are accountable for what we say and do. We are responsible to be faithful and steadfast stewards of God's conservatory. That is right. And if my friends and relatives can show me new evidence, and I can learn a deeper understanding of scripture, with a little help from my friends, well whoa to the devil.

Tonight, my brother Dave told me about his forward progress in reading Ezekiel. "My favorite," I said.

I am not playing around; Ezekiel is important, because he is one of the three priest-prophets who were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar. Ezekiel was taken to the Big N's headquarters when he was 25-ish. From that point on Ezekial's physical body was no longer his own. He would become completely manipulated physically and mentally, by the Lord God, Adonai Yahweh.

Nebuchadnezzer conquered lots of sovereign people, and to cover all bases with God, he brought the main priests of every conquered land to his temple.

At age thirty, while in captivity, Ezekiel began prophesying. Also, his marriage ended as his wife died early in their life together, subsequently when Jerusalem fell to Nebuchadnezzer. His sorrows were genuine, and would reveal long-time suffering similar of any Son of Man who loves, and is governed by Lord God, yet is separated by a wide gulf from Him.

Ezekial was made unable to speak except when he was given a message to deliver; he was made to shave his head and perform odd ceremonies; he was made to eat a bittersweet scroll; he was made to experience frightening visions; he was told to lie down as on his one side for hundreds of days, and turned to lie on the other side for 40 more days.

Ezekial's physical manifestations are so interesting to me because they are examples of a man who is the scriptures, not just a reader of them. When Ezekiel spoke, it was a miracle of God the Creator. Ezekiel, old friend, didn't just study a scroll, he ate it. When he was denied a life with his wife, he was sad from the day of her death forward. When he was given words to speak on Lord God's behalf, he was put in jeopardy.

Ezekiel could only speak when he was given prophecy to relay to people. And then, the words were rarely spoke to friendlies; he had to suffer wrath of wickedness and back-blow from both sides of current regimes. His unavoidable suffering resulted because the Word of Lord God rarely applied to human vanity. He was most often bearer of warnings of bad events arising for those who insisted on being wicked.

"Dave, did you ever notice people don't really like to be told how things will turn out? Especially 'wicked' people?" I said.

We chuckled, [instead of whimpering], as we talked about how Ezekiel had been a scapegoat made fool for what is ill, decrepit and sinful in the kingdoms he served. As priest-prophet he looked after the conquered Israelites, and as captive, he was accountable to Nebuchadnezzer. Bad situation for any man or woman.

So this is what Dave said: "What's really good is at the end of all those warnings, betrayals and battles, hardships and humiliations, is one line -- it says 'Turn and Live.'"

Go ahead, take a look -- Ezekiel 18, verse 32, "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God; wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye." (KJ)

That is what I was looking at just now and wanted to share with others: "Turn yourselves, and live ye."  So 'TAG -- you're It' ... I guess... King's X.

Bottle Shock -- Like a promise to Sons by their Fathers, a bride for prides, Bill Pullman takes us on a ride through toil and dust, letting a convergent spirit to evolve between he and his son.

What is the first curse upon sinful men placed on mankind by the Lord God Creator of Heaven and Earth ... eh? And you "man, will struggle to live making your way by scratching in the dust of Earth..." or similar?


Cultivation of wine never ceases to be a really great metaphor for life throughout centuries of human habitation.


Based on true stories that literally blow your mind: real issues in Bo Barrett's and his family life revolve around DIRT -- The soils in what is now the famous Napa Valley generally are very deep and have high potential productivity. They are used for vineyards, orchards, and pastures.


Meanwhile, it turns out soils just south of the valley have lower production potential because they are limited by a strongly developed subsoil. They are used mainly for dryland pasture and for oats and hay.

"Take our word for it, this story is as big and as earth shake-rattle-n-rolling as landing on the Moon," said Valarie Duty, Wine Tasting Expert, and Suitcase Model, for Aficionado Magazine. "What makes the dirt part of the story is its origins. And guess what? Money is scarce. The banks are calling in their loans on Billy Pullman's enterprises, and he starts to show signs of dementia, by shadow boxing himself into a corner. Wx-wife is eat up but somehow pulls Pullman out through collaborations with their son. Even the bartender helps the cause.

Now, Bo, the son, is a trip. All the other characters have trembly lips, yes, too as the story unfolds. Truth in DIRT starts to make sense to us movie-goers. Hippie throwback Bo goes to Paris and stumble-bums into fame like a punch drunk UFC fighter.

"Wine the color of shit; interesting," says an American in Paris to his ambivalent British wine snob, Snape Severus, who is on a break from wand-tending to make this ground-breaking, epic PG-13 movie, with cast of thousands of grapes.

Modesty is the virtue of slaves. Cultivation of the grape is life. The father becomes a despot and takes on the task of "I'm gonna' make it happen." His loving son helps in mysterious ways, though Bo Barrett carries no magic wand.

"Billy Pullman is well known for his other roles, such as Chrissie Ricci's dad in Casper a decade back. As a landmark in most of our foreboding cinemas, Pullman seems to get all the breaks in being cast," said our Resident Movie Critic and Geologist, Tammy Walker Paisley.

No bacchanal ?? Just kidding, there are a couple of mid-night rambles, and besides it is the post-WoodStock Era, pre-Stadium Rock Epoch.

And there is an Intern that shows up in a VW. She has to be initiated into wine culture dogma, obsession, and idyllic polygamous relationships.

The Infinity Question

Infinity and the Barber Chair Experience

I am looking at Visual paradise; that is a paradise I choose. Attracted to visual is only one benefit of my surfing the Internet. What does the visual lead me into?

Here is a page of a "brilliant" visual web site: The Billion Dollar Gram Information is Beautiful. That's correct; information is the beauty.
Meanwhile:
I had this conversation with mini-Me's just this evening, before work (night shift).

Pat2: "Hey, Dad, it would be cool if you did one of those .." and he waved his hands in the air.


Pat1: "What?"


P2: "One of those paintings ... like duplicate that one over there so that there is no end ..."

Desiree1: "You mean infinity?" she said miraculously between multi-tasks, without ever looking up.



P2: "Like reflections in mirrors. We had those mirrors at the Chetman house, and it was fun to dance between them ... kind of spooky. When I was little, 'member?"

P1: "Okay, now I get it. Like in the old days at Barber Shops, they weren't fancy, they had mirrors in front and back; so that every time you sat in the barber chair you saw infinite reflections."

P2: "Kewl," he says to me, I think. "Yep, that's right." (then we have more pauses for infinite TEXT tete a tete's, as I sweat the details in my mind ... ) "I like that in paintings..." concludes P2 of our brief encounter with Infinity.


That is about the extent of the subject discussion -- but it lingers on in my mind through the night.. Even if I am alone in this feeling, I usually get a very "strange" queasy spell when I "try" to think of a universe never ending ... I suppose I have been puzzled by the aspect for my whole life.

For instance, do the nerve endings of the soles of our feet have origins in the beelleeons and beelleeons of stars?
[Answer: Yes, of course. Carl Sagan says "starstuff pondering the stars."]
So when knock-off-Armani-esque version-in-BanLon, Carl Sagan kept saying to us through our TV's in maple wood cabinets resting on burnt vegetable colored shag carpet in our living rooms:
"... beelleeons and beelleeons of stars, in beelleeons and beelleeons of galaxies,
of beelleeons and beelleeons of universes, ..." [Note: it took Carl a while to get his TV chops together back then.]
Don't leave me hanging there Carl !!!! ... for the LOVE OF GOD, WHAT's NEXT ?!

Sagan, Carl, elucidated a hidden stigma about obscurity of space surrounding us, using visual mechanist color TV of that period to help with visual contexts. But, really Dudes and Dudettes, what is next?

I can do the painting, but it won't zig-zag, TEXT, quip or whizzzz, or translate. Will my kids be disappointed? BEELLEEONS of tear drops?

Jesus expounded on this condition of continual seeking in the Gospel of John. He called it "abiding."

This is one of my favorite things to discover in our gospel, good news, message from Jesus, lover of His Father, steadfast encourager of us.

Sometimes it becomes so clear after a bit of explanation, I get a "funny feeling" which I have come to identify as "strong shoulders." Why are we blessed in so many aspects of our lives?

The excerpt below highlights verses described by Jesus how He and His word abides in me, when I ask of Him all my concerns through prayer, it is done.

Jesus abides as the Word and the Life in you and me; we ask what we ask, and Jesus hears his Words and remembrance of His Life with us. Prayer "is" because Jesus "is" -- Because "I am," you "are." [See John 15:7 as reference.]

When I become aware of this type of argument in the Bible, I kind of have a feeling in my shoulders, I get a feeling of "attachment." I feel as if I belong and I feel capable; as Jesus abides in me, I will ask for and find peace, love, joy, happiness ... and all functions of Jesus's wholeness. It feels like a wrap.

II. THE PRINCIPLE OF ABIDING seek, and ye shall find
The second great principle of answered prayer is to seek. This word, "zete", means to seek in order to find out by thinking, meditating,and reasoning; to inquire into. God continually calls on His people to seek Him in His fullness.

Mat. 6:33
But seek ye first his kingdom
, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Psa. 27:8;
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; My heart said unto thee, Thy face, Jehovah, will I seek.

Psa. 119:2;
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.

Pro. 8:17;
17 I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.

Isa. 55:6;
6 Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found; call ye upon him while he is near:

Jer. 29:13;
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Heb. 11:6
...that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

Jesus expounded on this condition of continual seeking in the Gospel of John. He called it "abiding."

4 Abide in me
, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

To abide in the Vine (in Christ) is a threefold proposition. We abide in Him in relationship to place, time and condition.

We abide with Him wherever He is, all the time, and in whatever condition we find ourselves.

This is the fullness of the Christian life! This is the ultimate of Christian living! This is the place where we find answers to our prayers!

There is a living connection between the vine and the branch. The life and fruitfulness comes from the vine to the branches.

Jesus says Without me ye can do nothing. We can be successful only by Christ dwelling and abiding in us. We can be pleasing to Him only by abiding.

Notice especially verse 7: If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Contrast this verse with James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

One commentator called this the "absence of holy desire," and surely it is. There is no "asking amiss" when we abide in Him, for His desires and blessings flow from the vine to the branches. We are one in our prayers! (Cobb, Robert L. 2006. Three Steps to Answered Prayer Matthew 7:7-8)

We have a little less than one month to get word across our great land and into every community of the United States of America.

The Program:
On Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, American flags will be displayed outside every home, apartment, office and store in the USA.

Every individual has the duty to display an American flag on this eighth anniversary of one of our country's worst tragedies.

We shall do this in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11. We will show respect to their families, friends, loved ones -- who continue to endure pain. Also, for those who today are fighting to guard our borders, those on foreign lands preserving our freedom, we rasie the colors that do not run.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder to shoulder against terrorism.

Sadly, flags have not been flying. Patriotism pulls Americans worldwide through tough times; attacks further galvanize us in solidarity. Lets Create a Singularity with our American Solidarity...

Our American Flag is the fabric of our land and community shared by all. Fly your flag on 9\11 and don't let your light shine any less brighter; we prevail over terrorism of any kind.

Action Plan: Here's what we will do:

1. Forward this Statement to everyone you know. Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11; let those sentiments guide you.

Do you recognize it? The chorus following Jesus Christ's proclamation is the choir singing "Hos ... Sann ... a ; Hey... Sanna Sanna Sanna Ho ; Sanna Hey; Sanna Ho Sanna Hey Superstar !!" or something similar.

This lyric has never left my head since seeing Superstar the Summer of '73 live on Broadway; high school senior graduation trip, thanks to parents.

The production was not wasted on this Texian, nope. That is thirty seven years ago, and it still is clamoring around up in me old belfry.

My understanding of 'Dispensational' [more or less] it is a method of understanding historical happenings.. good or bad. I have two ideas in my head in the back files of the back forty:
1) Jesus is at this very moment a 'anticipatory' groom, he is to return to be married... and in Hebrew tradition, a groom never knows when he will be sent by His Father to go collect his Bride.. so the tension has Jesus chomping at His bit... so to speak.
2) As I look about I equate "end times" as not any end to anything... God is eternal... no? So, how can we expect end times? Are we able to make this decision in our present circumstance, when we cannot even decide on a reasonable timeline? ...; I prefer to look at God's Nature... almost every form of life, goes through transformation, transfiguration, or metamorphosis in its travail toward "meaning and hope.." So too we go? So we are changed too... and placed in New Jerusalem?
3) [did I say two? sorry] And when God the Father Almighty "chose" the Hebrews, my understanding is that is because Hebrews were an obnoxious rabble of rastafarian, self-willed, trouble makers, and Hedonist complainers... though hardworking, that "if God could organize and turn this rabble group to Him... then all the people of earth shall find their way back to Him; ABBA...
4) [ibid] and only when all the peoples of earth have heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, then shall He return... as a Groom that is.

In response to my words preceding "Ya' suppose??" -

Having no proof whatsoever, I've pretty much always felt that the 'Rapture' concept may not be the way things go down. Two close Christian friends from my past, w/o me ever mentioning this, both said the same thing. And, on TV, Arnold Murray of Shepherd's Chapel, Ark. expressed such belief,years back. So...that one verse, about being 'caught up' has morphed into a whole culture practically. (But of course, I do not know the truth for sure.)

Re/your 3rd.comment - somewhere around here I have a book abt Columbus, the New World, etc. & that point was made, how disease was brought to these lands. Which had never occurred to me b4.

As to your two (4!) final comments -
#1 - what a way to see Jesus now! This also would never have occurred to me.

#2 - 'end times' - one of the two above-mentioned friends told me that he believed that 'end times' refers to the actual end of the influence of law. Grace will reign. I am right there with that one! (You can see why satan would fight so hard to keep law in all forms operative.)

#3 - "I prefer to look at God's Nature..." Keepin' our eyes on Jesus...the only way to fly!

This amazing passage defines and says that all true believers in the Messiah are "Abraham’s seed and heirs according to God’s promise". Abraham was known as the first Hebrew – actually, “one who crosses over!”

Before he crossed over into the promised land, we know from the scriptures that Abraham lived in a extremely idolatrous society {just like it is in todays world and growing worse} His own earthly father was an idol worshiper. (Joshua 24:2)

But one noteworthy day, a call came to Abraham, a call from the Most High God, The Lord spoke and he “crossed over” from idolatrous polytheism into a personal knowledge of the one true God. So after leaving his past behind, he entered a new life of spiritual truth and holiness and a new land of promise; a profound transformation and change, and for us, a beautiful picture of our own “crossing over” into the new life in the Lord.

He was looking for that city of light were there will be no more heart ache, no more pain, no worries, no hunger, only peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Oh what a glorious day that will be. He believed in that promise and praise God [that] I do too!

As we look at the story of Abraham, we see that his life was not free of obstacles and troubles {just as our lives are not} once he reached his destination in Caanan? No it was not! It was not pie in the sky! Here are a few important facts about his life: he felt forced to go into Egypt to escape a famine, where his wife, Sarah, was held captive in Pharaoh's harem for an unrevealed amount of time; after being set free, Sarah continued barren until old age; then, Abraham was required by his own deep loyalty, to rescue his worldly nephew Lot and his family, risking his own life and the lives of his men; again he was tested.

When taking and following Sarah's advice, Abraham conceived a son with Hagar, whom he deeply loved but was compelled to send him into the desert with his Egyptian wife who was the boy's mother. And of course, he probably faced the greatest test of faith when God asked Abraham to sacrifice the son of promise, Isaac, Sarah's only son, for whom they both had waited all their lives! What testing this man had, but in the end he still, "Believed God for the promise."

I find it very interesting that we know nothing of Abraham's life trials before he crossed over into Caanan? Only after he crossed over do we read of the continuous testing and trails of faith that following one after another. This man was really tested. Testings of this great man of faith and because of those tests Abraham is considered the “father” of faith. (Romans 4:16)

We are face with many problems in this world today. The loss of jobs, no money to pay our monthly bills, the price of gas sky high, less food on the table, false leaders in the government and some even behind the pulpit. Through it all we are called to bear our crosses daily, and also to respond with faith to whatever may come our way. And, praise God when we do, we also will be known as those who have "crossed over" and overcame every obstacle and trial of faith...having held firm to every great promise of God!

In this day, more than ever, as we face many hardships in our personal lives and we are seeing our country go backwards because of the leadership, a leadership that does not put their faith in God. Our faith must be in the Lord!

Through many dangers, toils and snares we as God's people have already come and he has upheld us and was with us and always will be with us.

In closing, let us be like Abraham and keep our eyes on the promise.

Hitting Nails; Biting Bullets, the Bill Cosby Way

As I washed dishes on Saturday, by hand, using only enough water to get them cleaned and rinsed... Knowing that this is only feasible for a single person... Automatic dishwashers are wonderful, economical and disease preventers.

So, as I stood at the kitchen sink, I was thinking about the dilemma the world is in. The specific thought was related to real estate closings being delayed because of the limitations placed on the appraisal process by various lenders and loan underwriters, i.e. banks and government entities, i.e. Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc.

These are the same entities that were lending money to under-qualified buyers and making fairyland credit available. All the while the media was whipping everyone into a recession frenzy, with unbridled rhetoric about escalated housing prices in some markets...artificially inflated oil prices, drop in GDP, overpriced stock on Wall Street...all of the things that really don't interest the "Middle American".

Bill Cosby is talking about the "Cliches" that makes this country stand above the rest. We are bound and obligated by our Constitution, which is a document based on Christianity, the working mans religion, to solve these issues ourselves, you and me, together. Buy American, think American, eat, sleep and drink American. Do you understand the difficulty of this?

God's covenant to America is written in the document. Read it...several times if you wish. It is great reading. Everything Bill is espousing is mete and right. The hard part is to implement and uphold.

In the Name of Jesus we must ask for God to resolve us. Pray for each other, as you've never done before. Also pray for those who hold office, that they will ask for forgiveness and re-invent the government in the Name of Jesus, who didn't become man to be served but to serve.

Also say a special prayer for M. Phelps to someday do the 100 fly so fast we don't have to talk about it anymore.

Tornado Proofing our Family Structures with Virtue

Families are proving ground for young ones learning virtues, simply by providing opposites of virtues. How? For instance, where else can a child learn bribery, graft, usurpation, avarice or jealousy, bargaining, pecking order, time-wasters, and blundering. A child learns early these torments, and how others deal with them -- where else besides in a family of siblings, cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. As above: "a habit super-added to a faculty of the soul, disposing it to elicit with readiness acts conformable to our rational nature."

For me that little definition implies family life -- no matter how virtuous or not -- is rational. Also, how can one depart from one's soul, and not seek virtues in the presence of one's own family members? Tornadoes will come in whirlwinds of family life, expect them.

Sure, one can read virtue in Shakespeare, or listen to music describe virtue in the remnants of life -- life as work, life as eating, life as sleeping, as history -- birth and death. It turns out, no infant I know can read at her age of one year. That cancels out Shakespeare as a source reference for Baby's dealing with her litter of siblings, cousins, parents and their siblings.... right?

You bet that is right. By age five, supposedly, a child may have locked in what her personality will be. It has to do with birth order, genetic arrangements and the condition of her domicile. No other frame of reference is used that magically dominates a child's condition.

Looking around, but of course, I find no first person narrative has ever been written from the first five years of infancy. Not even the first five years of Jesus's life is written in a first person guide to aid in our development as virtuous family members. However, later Jesus did ask his followers to receive His faith in His next of kin -- God the Father... eh? [Thanks to Garnetgurl]

Like some cultures, we also could consider children of infancy are absolutely in their own communion with their universe. As "beings" not of our world, Virtue is born there, in the secret language of infants.

I realize this is a monster assumption, on many levels, and therefore looks like a conspiracy. My frame of reference comes from observation of our six children. I sincerely hope our men-children and women-children transcend my assumption, and prove someday where virtue really does spawn. I only ask that some how we at last apply -- continually -- virtues, for which there is no law against, in our lives as family members. I know in my heart there is plenty room for improvement in all resolve of stormy times amongst family people.

There can be no harm in exploring possibilities of tornado proofing our domiciles with virtues purchased and forwarded by our ancestry; and should we invite an elephant into our Living Room, we should at least discuss it's presence there... no?

Tornado Proofing our Family Structures with Virtue

It occurs in many families throughout the land, an explosion of tempers, that is remembered by siblings and parents. Usually this expository of emotion relieves no one, and whatever the real issues were, are forgotten. A tornado flits by, lifts the roof from the rafters, tussles the household; then it is over.

Have I considered path of man from child to man and woman in this manner? Yes. We understand this: we come to an understanding first with our family persons that we do not understand each other... whoever we are. Why?

Most of my life I enjoyed fat breakfast every morn, a fabulous book to read, and blessing of work every day. I have had hard days, and hard day's nights. By the grace of God I survived. What I did not experience has been explained to me with freedom of word and deed. My entire family is surviving still all around.

Do I believe Families provide a chance for young ones to learn virtues, simply by teaching the opposites of those characteristics? Yes I do, but how?

Macronutia and Micronutia

A year and some days ago, as I was traveling along my usual route to a job, God intervened in my life with a Grip of Love and Sternness all at once. The Grip was powerful enough to make it hard to breath and involuntary tears streamed down my face. I continued driving because I wasn't steering anymore, so the car just moved along with traffic and I felt the presence of our God . There was no fear or discomfort, just a squeeze on me...very powerful.

I had been following a news story of a young couple who killed their child. The young man described his act, how he disposed of the body and then fled. It was sensational news playing to an eager audience like so much bad news does. I wondered, why stories like this are sought out by the media and kept on a front-burner by the public. I had a fair amount of outrage and was thinking to myself about the need to hear about the good and godly men who go about the daily job of working, nurturing, instructing and fearing God. Not much on the tube or in the press about them.

I thought of the hundreds of millions of righteous men who don't ever receive a word of praise or thanks outside of their immediate circle. In Jesus' Name they should be counted and named as being faithful and steadfast to God. Believing in Him and following the Covenant given them by Jesus. At the very least, they... we should form a constant coalition of "Faithful and Steadfast to God" men to further God's work on this beautiful orb... He created, along with us and our dominion. As men of God, our duty is to correct the distorted view satan tries to present.

So this blog was started from this moment a year ago. I praise God that it has remained available. I thank God for my blog master brother who can channel God's word righteously. Several dear people, who I only know from this blog, have commented over the year. This is the ninety-ninth post. Meaningless but significant. Our God is an awesome God. He has given us the means to Wisdom, His Word... and Salvation, Jesus Christ. Such gifts to be thankful for and try to live as... The Word says and as Jesus taught us. Be diligent in the rejections of the diversions the adversary lays in our path.

I think of the small amount of words we are able to use in these blogs. The blogs are larger than we can imagine. The world is full of them but they are little, nearly invisible compared to the capability.

" By faith-by believing in God-we know that the world and the stars-in fact, all things-were made at God's command; and that they were made from things that can't be seen."

Faith in God is our guide to life. We use His given talents in the life to gain Wisdom. In our quest for Wisdom, we must not pursue, but must give it over to Him to guide us... through the redemption Jesus granted us, to what true life is.

Will that turn out to be anything we can imagine? I feel God's presence as a cloak around my shoulders with the devil's windy and deceitful ways pushing it up and off, still secured across my back, God can calm the devilish winds. We as faithful, steadfast and loving men should be wary and alert for these gusts trying to knock us off the narrow path, making us miss the gate. Only a small, immeasurable time dealing with the adversary is needed to awaken our flesh and we stray from our Guide. To pray and meditate back to God is both rewarding and exhilarating. I am in constant awe of the prospect of being in the presence of The Lord.

It's a macronutial feeling that makes me strive to get the micronutial ones, in the mean time.

Draw closer, Listen carefully

Not long ago I heard a story about a young man and an old preacher.

The young man had lost his job and didn't know which way to turn.
So, he went to see the preacher.

Pacing about, the young man ranted about his problem.
Finally, he raised a clenched fist and shouted,
" I've prayed to God to say something to help me.
Tell me, preacher, why doesn't God answer me?"

The preacher, who sat across the room , spoke something so
hushed it was indistinguishable. The young man stepped
across the room, "What did you say?"
The preacher repeated himself, but again in a tone as soft
as a whisper. So the young man moved closer still and said,
" Sorry, I still didn't hear you."

With their heads bent together, the old preacher spoke again,
" God sometimes whispers, so we will move closer, to hear Him."
This time the young man heard; and he understood.

We all want God's voice to thunder through the air with answers.
But God's is the still, small voice...the gentle whisper.

Perhaps there's a reason. Nothing draws human focus quite like a
whisper. God's whisper means I must stop my ranting and move
closer to Him, until my head is bent together with His.
And then, as I listen, I will find my answer.
Better still, I find myself closer to God.
